Closed Shiplap Style

Rulon - LinearA standard closed shiplap module is 4” wide and consists of wood boards 3/4” thick by 4 1/4” wide. When assembled this produces a 1/4” overlap between boards. The closed style gives an all-wood shiplap appearance. The Linear product can be provided in random lengths with tongue and groove ends or in fixed lengths.

Above Ceiling Access – Access above Linear Wood ceilings is obtained with standard access panels. Full length boards can be removed for access to larger areas.

 

Lighting Fixtures – Both recessed incandescent and linear fluorescent fixtures are compatible with Linear Wood ceilings. Lighting fixtures must be supported independently from the Linear Wood ceiling.

Quick Facts

  • Rulon has factory attached clips that guarantee perfect field spacing of the boards. The visual placement of the clips shows the contractor where penetrations of other ceiling components will occur.
  • Both standard and custom stains, sealers, and color treatments are available with a Class A or 1 fire treated surface.
