Flat Veneer Panels
Access above Flat Veneered Panel ceilings is easily achieved with a variety of installation techniques. C-Hangers and Torsion Springs are the two most common installation methods for individual panel accessibility.
Lighting Fixtures
Light holes and other penetrations can be factory cut on Rulon’s advanced CNC manufacturing equipment. Penetrations can also be field cut by the contractor during installation.
Installation
Installation of Rulon Flat Veneered Panels varies depending on project requirements. Accessible panels are most commonly installed with Z-hangers, z-clips, or torsion springs. C-hangers simply screw to the backs of the panels and suspend the panels from standard 1/2″ wide C-channel. Torsion springs are fastened to the backs of the panels and using standard T-rail grid and a spring and clip mechanism. Panels in areas where accessibility is not required can be direct screwed to T-rail grid on the back of the panel. For wall applications, Z-clips provide a secure attachment to furring or a ply board wall.
